Well before the start in January 2019 of "Klaas Huizenga Consulting", I have been working in industry since 1991.
I started my professional life at small and mid-size Dutch companies in mechanical engineering and moved to software consulting in 1997, employed by US based CAD and PLM company PTC.
The change to PTC made it possible to switch to IT in 2000, working for Japanese automotive multinationals. First for Mitsubishi Motors in Amsterdam and Paris (2004) and later, from 2007 onwards, for Nissan Europe.

Working languages : I am fluent in English, French and Dutch, I have a very good understanding of German and basic Spanish.
I am a Dutch national with professional working experience in all countries of Western Europe and the US and with people from all over the world.
Best decision during my Design Engineering studies at the Delft University of Technology, was to accept a 3 months Erasmus training period in Wolverhampton.
I live in France in the Paris region since 2004 and I am a volunteer of not-for-profit association Regards Croisés. Through this association we support culture and convivial interludes in our village.
